In making a submission, all participants accept the following rules and regulations :
 

Art. 1 We do not ask for any submission fee. ADHEOS pays for the publication costs of the Cahier BD des Diversités.(Diversities Comic Notebook).

Art.2 The work has to be original and should not have been published before. It should stand be in an A4 format. Each candidate can submit up a maximum of 5 works (only one will be published).

Art.3 All entries should be submitted via internet (wetransfer or dropbox) before

November 1 of the current year to appear in January of the following year.

Accepted formats : A4 files, 300dpi, CMYK, jpg.
ATTENTION : Only send copies of your designs or comic drawing boards.

 

Art.4 Each submission should include the following documents :

• The design or comic drawing board

• The real name of the author, or his/ her alias,

• The title of the work

• A presentation about the author and each work either in English or French (maximum 400 letters each), These texts will be used for communication.

 

Art.5 - Each work should be identified as follows (on any support material) ; Christian name and Surname of the artist ( country)/ title of the work / achievement year.

 

Art.6 - Author's works should be submitted free of any charges ; they remain the owners of their work(s).

 

Art.7 - Chosen works could be used to promote the Cahier BD des Diversités, in any distribution format ; including but not limited to catalogues, programmes, invitations, press, internet, television, booklets and educational slideshows.

 

Art.8 - All awarded works will be included in the digital archives of LGBT ADHEOS. Works will also be referenced on an internet database.

 

Art.9 - These works could be presented in several events organized by ADHEOS association, after having informed the authors. These could include educational activities in schools. The works will NEVER, will works be used for any commercial activity, without author’s agreement.

Art.10 - Authors who wish to support ADHEOS in its fight against discriminations can assign a part of his/her copyright. If it is so, a form will be signed between both sides.
 

Art.11 –In case the author's take part in FIBD d’Angoulême ( International Comic Festival of Angoulême) ; where the Cahier des Diversités will be promoted, ADHEOS does not pay for travel and accommodation expenses,

 

Art.12 - The organisers will select the works and authors he/she wants to promote in the Cahier BD des Diversités. He/She can stop this project anytime, in case of any event beyond his/her control. Once the work is selected for the project, the organisers will contact the author. Then he/she will define with the author how the work will be used.
